Name of Center

Clinton County Learning Network

A short history of development

Community partnership between the Chamber of Commerce, Cooperative Extension Service, County Government, and other local economic development groups. The Network has been responsive to the requests of professional and service workers of the community for conversational Spanish to be able to communicate with Frankfort's new residents. In addition, local companies have come to appreciate the on-going basic skills computer training for new workers. Local government offices have also discovered a nearby resource for training its office workers in similar basic computer skills classes. Clinton County residents have learned to watch for one- and two-day workshops in the "personal" side of home computing-email, word processing, and simple graphics.
