DePrez JrCurrently, the president and director of his own company, SNI, LLC, John DePrez is also a director of Shelby Industries, Inc., and Shelby Industrial Development Corp. A graduate of Culver Military Academy and Trinity College in Connecticut, DePrez returned to Indiana to work in various newspaper roles before joining United Press International. From 1973-83, UPI based DePrez in Indianapolis, Chicago, Des Moines, San Diego, Dallas, and New York, in a variety of news and administrative positions. DePrez moved on to Reuters as National Sales Manager for news in 1983. In 1989, he returned to Shelbyville as publisher of the Shelbyville News until it was sold in 1999. David TerrellDavid Terrell works with communities throughout Indiana in planning and implementing community-level actions to address their needs. He also assists businesses with strategic planning and goal development. With extensive experience in workforce development, Terrell has served in the past as chair of the Scott County Partnership, on the board of the Hoosier Falls Private Industry Council, and on the Executive Committee of the Indiana Jobs Council. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Southern Seven Workforce Investment Board, on the Indiana Human Resource Investment Council, and on the board of the Southern Indiana Rural Development Project. Terrell has a strong background in private sector employment, in both manufacturing and service industries. He was the general manager of a start-up manufacturing plant with 300 employees. He also has served as a manager for sales and engineering for a plastics company and as a general manager for a diverse real estate development company. A graduate of Indiana State University with his MBA from the University of South Florida, Terrell worked in several capacities in state government, culminating in service as Deputy Director of the Business Expansion Division of the Indiana Department of Commerce. He served as liaison to the steel industry in Northwest Indiana, in addition to working with existing businesses in their expansion efforts. Terrell is active in volunteer work in his hometown of Madison. He is a board member of the Madison Industrial Development Corporation (MIDCOR). He also is on the board of the Jefferson County Youth Soccer Association, and coaches a youth soccer team. |
