Welcome!

We all know that students studying at a distance have a greater chance of succeeding if they receive the same high-quality educational experiences and levels of support as campus-based students. That’s why for the past 12 years, the Indiana College Network’s “student support network” has worked together to provide those services to distant learners from all of Indiana’s colleges and universities. Ironically, as enrollments in distance education soar among traditional students as well as nontraditional first-time adult learners who need individual attention, funding for support services is declining.

Join us in Frankfort, Indiana to renew our commitment to meeting the needs of distant learners in Indiana. We’ll review the roles of ICN’s primary support providers and discover the array of services and resources currently available. We’ll share our accomplishments and our challenges and develop a plan of action for the future. Building Networks Beyond Technology: Our Emerging Role will serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas to help us prepare for our emerging roles in ICN's cooperative student support network.

The future emphasizes collaboration. Be a part of it!
