

Ivy Tech Community College - Valparaiso
Ivy Tech is a statewide, open-access, community college with campuses in 23 communities throughout Indiana. Campuses are organized into 14 administrative regions. The Valparaiso Campus is located in Valparaiso, IN (Porter County). The campus is community-focused. The campus offers academic and training programs to support the needs of the workforce for the counties of Porter, Starke, Newton, Jasper, and Pulaski. Programs offered at the Valparaiso campus include: Practical Nursing, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Office Administration, Paralegal, Design Technology, Electronics Technology, Heating and Air Conditioning, Industrial Maintenance, Welding, and General Education and Support Services. The administration promotes education through partnerships with local schools and other institutions in several off campus sites. In spring 2002, Ivy Tech established a site in the Portage area. The Valparaiso campus provides student and administrative support for Portage residents seeking classes in that area.
EnrollmentIvy Tech operates on a semester basis, fall and spring with one summer term. the College in writing using the drop-and-add or withdrawal form. The fee
refund for voluntary withdrawal from a class, when applicable, will be processed
only after the student files a College drop-and-add or withdrawal form with
