Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is a statewide, open-access, community college and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It is the second largest state-supported, higher education system.

The Wabash Valley Region offers courses in Terre Haute at its South Campus, 7999 South US Hwy. 41; its Indiana Center of Aviation Technology, Terre Haute International Airport  Hulman Field, 501 South Airport Street; and its Martin Luther King, Jr. Family and Youth Development Center, 1438 South 13th Street. In addition, classes are offered at One North Calbert Way in Greencastle; Sullivan County Economic Development and Learning Center, Sullivan; South Vermillion High School, Clinton; Riverton Parke High School, Montezuma; and Community Learning Center of Greene County, White River Valley High School, Switz City.

Credit programs offered at Ivy Tech include Accounting, Aviation Technology, Automotive, Biotechnology, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Design Technology, Early Childhood Education, Electronics and Computer Technology, General Studies, Human Services, Manufacturing and Industrial Technology, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, Office Administration, Paramedic Science, Practical Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care, Surgical Technology and Visual Communications.

Corporate and Continuing Education Services (CCES), located at Ivy Tech's Indiana Center of Aviation Technology, provides non-credit continuing education courses for professional development, personal development, maintenance, safety, and computer training. The department offers contract training to businesses to help their employees in the areas of professional development, worker skills, pre-employment services, and job profiling as well as other services. Assessment and testing delivery in many areas is made available through CCES's Workforce Certification Center. Over 2,400 computer-based training programs are offered through the Center. CCES also has conferencing, video, and other high-tech services available to the community.

Enrollment

Ivy Tech operates on a semester basis, fall and spring with one summer term. Semester enrollments are counted ten days after the beginning of each term (ten-day count) and at the end of each term (end of term count). For more information visit: www.ivytech.edu/oir/enrollhist/.

Needed for Admission

All degree-seeking students must submit high school transcripts or GED scores. Prior to enrolling in classes, all degree-seeking students must participate in the ASSET course placement assessment.

$91.30 per credit for in-state students
$119.45 for out-of-state students in distance education courses

$40 technology charged each semester
$10.00 per credit hour fee for distance education courses

Withdrawals and Refunds

Students choosing to drop or withdraw from a course or courses must notify the College in writing using the drop-and-add or withdrawal form. The fee refund for voluntary withdrawal from a class, when applicable, will be processed only after the student files a College drop-and-add or withdrawal form with the Registrars Office.

— From registration to 10th business day of the semester 100% refund
— After the 10th business day- No refund

Financial Aid

71% of degree-seeking students receive aid. Aid is available for nondegree-seeking students. Available aid includes federal, state, and institutional funds in the form of grants, scholarships, and loans.
