Indiana Wesleyan University
Indiana Wesleyan University’s (IWU) Christ-centered focus in education integrates proven principles with cutting edge technology to develop creative and compelling leaders. Our desire is to develop students to be “World Changers”...people who make a difference in his or her organization or community. For over 80 years, IWU has provided quality accredited degree programs for traditional and adult learners. IWU Online offers the same excellence to our students through a “virtual classroom” forum to interact with faculty and fellow working professionals. The Internet and new “virtual” classroom technology will connect you with other students from different areas of the country (even the world) and from varying professional backgrounds as well as expert faculty. Now you can interact with your classmates—work on projects together—and learn from them as well as the instructor. IWU courses are delivered online through the use of the Blackboard interface, and can be accessed any time of the day or night. Most Online courses are completed in five weekly workshops. Open enrollment allows students to start classes anytime year round, and is not bound by Semester constraints like traditional programs. Through participation in ICN, Indiana Wesleyan can offer courses to learners from other institutions inside the state of Indiana as well as offer our students new opportunities in learning. Indiana Wesleyan University offers several distance learning degrees—the Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems (BSBIS), the Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM), the Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSA), the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), the Bachelor of Science in General Studies (BSGS), the Bachelor of Science in Marketing (BSMK), the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (BSJ) and the Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies (BSBS). In addition, we offer electives in a number of fields, including: Biblical Literature, English, Music, Math, Science, Social Science and much more.
