Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), Indiana’s sixth largest public university, offers more than 180 Indiana University and Purdue University associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs. With its commitment to preparing learners for productive lives in a multicultural, transitional world, the campus has always given special attention to bringing university education to nontraditional students.

Off-campus credit programs offer many opportunities to receive IPFW credit by taking classes in the surrounding communities or enrolling in courses offered via the Internet, the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS), cable access channel 5 (available via Comcast Cable) or DVD.

IPFW’s mission has steadily evolved since the initial merger of the Indiana University and Purdue University Fort Wayne regional campuses in 1964. While IPFW continues to provide northeast Indiana with programs linked to and maintaining the special excellencies of Purdue and Indiana Universities, IPFW has emerged as an institution with its own growing national reputation.
