Most of Indiana's public colleges and universities, as well as many private
schools and other educational providers, offer courses and/or services
through the Indiana College Network (ICN). ICN has two types of participating institutions:
Originating and Home. An Originating
Institution is a college or university, high school,
or other educational provider that offers distance education classes and lists
them in the ICN Course Catalog. A Home Institution is
a college or university that has agreed to follow certain guidelines to make
it easier for you to achieve your educational goals by allowing you to take courses from other participating Home Institutions. Your Home Institution
processes your enrollment, maintains your records, grants credit and issues
grades, provides financial aid services, and grants
your degree if you are degree-seeking.
Some institutions
function as both Originating and Home Institutions, while others only fulfill
one role. The table below lists all participating institutions
and shows whether they are Home Institutions, Originating
Institutions, or both. To learn more about any institution, click on its name.
*Although the Taylor University Fort Wayne Online follows traditional registration and transfer procedures, they work cooperatively with ICN Home Institutions on a one-to-one basis whenever possible to assist students working through the ICN Home Institution Model.
